Vietti Barolo Castiglione 2012 375mlThe grapes are selected from vineyards located in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte, Barolo and Novello where the vines are planed an average of 4.800 vines per hectare. The vines are 7 to 35 years old with yields of 35 hl/ha, grown using the gouyot system. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel with daily cap submersion for extraction of flavor and color. Aging: The wine is then aged for 26 months in casks. The wine was blended in stainless steel tanks 8 months before bottling. Food Pairings: Hearty stew, wild game, roasted red meats and cheeses.

Balvenie Caribbean Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky 14 year oldCaribbean Cask has been matured in traditional oak whisky casks for 14 years, and then 'finished' in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. To create the ideal finish, Malt Master David Stewart filled American oak casks with his own blend of select West Indian rums. When he judged the casks to be ready, the rum was replaced with the 14 year old spirit and the wood was put to work adding the final touches. The result is an exceptional single malt whisky with the traditional smooth, honeyed character of The Balvenie, married with notes of toffee and a hint of fruit, with a warm, lingering finish. NOSE: Rich, sweet and creamy toffee on the nose combines with fresh fruit notes. TASTE: Rounded with vanilla and sweet oak notes, with a fruity character that develops with time. FINISH: Soft and lingering.

Gotham Project Boom Box Rose 2016 3L...bag in box of dry-farmed, old-vine (80+ years) rosé of Monastrell/Mourvèdre from the genetic homeland of the variety, Bullas, in Spain. The rosé was picked on the early edge of ripeness and made direct to press just as is done with Bieler Pere et Fils Rosé and Charles & Charles Rosé. It's a bit richer and juicier than the Bieler and quite delicious.

On the palate the terroir reveals a pretty balanced and elegant volume along with a very nice tension bringing length. The bouquet of aromas is persistent leading to a long lasting fruity finish with an undertone salty character.
Mulderbosch Rose 2017It's hard not to feel excited by the appearance of the 2017 Mulderbosch Rosé. It's very much alive and energised. The colour is lighter and brighter than previous vintages. An attractive confected cherry note greets the nose, followed by subtle rose petal aromatics and a crisp mineral note that holds it all together nicely. Due to careful selection of vineyard sites and gentle fruit handling in the cellar the palate has an effortless poise about it. Sweet-fruited Cabernet flavours and early-picked natural acidity make for an intense palate that refreshes with each sip.
