This classic Stellenbosch Cabernet is compromised of various parcels from the slopes of Glenelly Estate. Youthful, leafy and very pure, with blackcurrant pastille fruit, tangy acidity and the fine tannins that are the hallmark of the Glass Collection Wines.

The 2015 Glass Collection Cabernet Sauvignon has a ripe blackberry and tar bouquet with good vigor and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, nicely proportioned and quite Pauillac-like in style. I appreciate the density here and the classic cedar- and tobacco-infused finish. This is a great entry-level Cabernet Sauvignon.
